Here is my quick bullet point review of Avatar, which I saw in Real 3D:

  • This was the first movie I saw in 3D, it was cool but not life changing.
  • 2 hours and 40 minutes was entirely too long
  • The motion capture is absolutely amazing and WAS life changing
  • The story wasn’t as bad as people led on
  • The acting was absolutely awful
  • I was roped in by the hype and should have went with my instinct and not seen it
  • Plot was wildly predictable
  • I know James Cameron is a legend, but I am often underwhelmed
