Here is my quick bullet point review of the The Blind Side. I read the book by the way.

  • Follows the book pretty well
  • Sandra Bullock is great as LeAnn Touhy. Exactly what I pictured. (And wow, is she smokin’)
  • They undervalued Sean Touhy, he had a much bigger role in the book.
  • You can definitely see the “Hollywood” moments, but a good story that isn’t too sappy.
  • The video clips and pictures during the end credits of the actual Michael Oher were cool
  • If this wasn’t based on a book, it would seem extremely far-fetched, which is crazy.
  • Surprisingly few football scenes. They only showed one game I think, which doesn’t do justice to what a freak of an athlete Oher was.
  • The little son, SJ, steals the show.
